Costs of a bath, shower cubical, toilet, towel rail and basin can vary immensely. With baths ranging from £100 to £1000 pounds. So when choosing your suite you are also setting a standard of cost for the project. In terms of fitting everything is the same only the build and quality is different, but bear in mind wall hung toilets and basins require extra support, which is reflected in the fitting cost.
Costs: bath, shower cubical and tray, toilet, basin, towel rail, shower head and mixer, taps
Tiling and flooring
Choice of tile size and area are your main costs here. Tiling around bath and basin is the cheapest option, but if tiling the whole room large tile are better interns of fitting time. Box work for pipes and waste will also add costs to tiling as you have more cut and use more trims.
Whether you use tiles, vinyl, or LVT luxury vinyl tiles a solid sub floor must be installed for the best results.
Costs:
tiles, trims, adhesive, sub floor, sub wall, boxing in
Lighting and extractor fan
Changing the exsisting light fitting, extractor and switch can make a huge difference and at little cost. Fitting new down lights and a new extractor with external venting are options but come at a cost.
Costs: lights, switches, cabling, extractor
Waste disposal
There is going to be a lot of waste and this cost will vary on size of project. Alternately you can dispose of this yourself at the local dump.
